Planning a birthday party on a yacht in Cyprus
A birthday yacht party in Cyprus is a private charter: the whole boat belongs to your group for two, three or four hours, with a captain and crew, drinks on board and swim stops on the way. Here is how guests usually plan it.

Milestone birthdays — 18th, 30th, 40th, 50th
Round birthdays are what most of our birthday charters are for. Pick a yacht for the size of the group — from 8 guests on the Sea Ray SDX 250 to 25 on the Princess 61 or Ferretti 592 and 80 on the Mediterraneo II catamaran — and add number balloons, a cake with the name on it and a bottle of premium champagne for the toast.

A surprise birthday on a boat
Tell us it is a surprise and we plan around it: the decorations go up before the birthday star arrives, the cake comes out at the anchorage, and if you want the moment filmed, a photographer or videographer is already on deck.

Daytime swim or sunset toast
Daytime charters are for the Cape Greco sea caves, Konnos Bay and snorkelling. Sunset charters are for golden-hour photos and the toast — departures move with the season, around 19:00 in midsummer and 17:30 in October.

What is included — and what you add
Every charter includes the captain and crew, fuel, champagne, local wine, beer and soft drinks, a fruit platter, snorkelling gear, towels and Bluetooth sound. Balloons, cakes, decorations, a DJ, fireworks, water toys and hotel transfers are added on request.

How much does a birthday yacht party in Cyprus cost?
A private charter starts from €450 for two hours on the Sea Ray SDX 250 — the whole boat, not per person, with captain, fuel and drinks. For bigger groups the Princess 61 starts from €1,200. Birthday extras such as balloons, a cake or a photographer are quoted separately.
How many guests can we bring?
Most yachts take up to 11 guests, the Sea Ray SLX 350 and Azimut 46 up to 16, the Princess 61 and Ferretti 592 up to 25, and the Mediterraneo II catamaran up to 80 — from an intimate dinner for two to the whole family.
Can you decorate the yacht and bring a cake?
Yes. Balloons, flowers and a celebration cake (small €30, medium €45, large €60) can be waiting on board when you arrive. Pick them in the extras and we include them in your quote.
Can we celebrate a child’s birthday on board?
Yes, families are welcome. Tell us the ages of the children and we plan a calm route with easy swim stops — mermaid tails and snorkels are a favourite.
Can we swim during the cruise?
Yes. We anchor in a bay along the way — the sea caves at Cape Greco and Konnos Bay are favourites — so you can swim straight off the boat.
Day trip or sunset cruise?
Both work. Daytime is for swimming and the caves; sunset is for the golden-hour photos and the toast. Sunset departures move with the season: around 19:00 in midsummer, 18:15 in September and 17:30 in October.
Where do the birthday cruises leave from?
From Ayia Napa, Protaras or Limassol, depending on the yacht. We confirm the meeting point and time when you book.

Yes, a transfer from your hotel or villa to the marina and back can be arranged on request — add it in the extras.
