How much does a yacht proposal in Cyprus cost?
A private charter starts from €450 for two hours on the Sea Ray SDX 250 — the whole boat, with captain, fuel and drinks. The Azimut 42 starts from €800. Proposal extras such as flowers, champagne or a photographer are quoted separately, so you only pay for what you choose.
What is the best time to propose on a yacht?
Golden hour. Sunset departures move with the season: around 19:00 in midsummer, 18:15 in September and 17:30 in October. We confirm the exact time when you book, so the light is at its best when you ask.
Where do proposal cruises leave from?
From Ayia Napa, Protaras or Limassol, depending on the yacht. Favourite proposal spots nearby are the Cape Greco sea caves, Konnos Bay and Fig Tree Bay — or simply the open sea at sunset.
Can you keep the proposal a secret?
Yes. We plan everything with you by WhatsApp or email, the crew is briefed before you board, and any decorations are set up while you are still ashore. As far as your partner knows, it is a sunset cruise.
Can a photographer film the proposal?
Yes. A photographer, a videographer or drone filming can be added to your charter, so the moment she says yes is captured. Availability is confirmed with your quote.
How many guests can come on board?
Just the two of you, or family and friends waiting with champagne. Most yachts take up to 11 guests, the Princess 61 and Ferretti 592 up to 25, and the Mediterraneo II catamaran up to 80.
Is a two-hour cruise long enough for a proposal?
For the sunset and the question, yes. If you want a swim stop or dinner on board as well, book three or four hours — some yachts start at four hours anyway.
